I watched Toy Story 3 on Saturday and it was great! :D
Well it's pretty much the same formula that goes into the first and second installments of this trilogy but I enjoyed it anyway. I was surprised that the plot was a bit darker for the third film; parts of the movie left me with a feeling of "oh my gosh, what is that?" and "why? oh my gosh why?" but in the most humorous way possible. This movie, I think, was made for those of us who grew up with the first two films. Most of us are "Andy's" that went off to college and had to grow up; it was nice that this movie touched base on everything we love about Toy Story. Have to admit that I teared up at the last bit of the movie; it made me want to go back to my "home" home and find all my old toys in the hopes of rekindling our lost friendships lol. Well, maybe not in such a literal sense, but hey it's good to reminisce.
Nothing much to look forward to this weekend. I want to watch Knight and Day but that might just be my own little venture. We gave up on Jonah Hex, seeing as how last time we decided to give a low rated movie a chance (Killers via rottentomatoes.com) we were very disappointed. You can't get a single digit rate and impress too many people, should have read and learned and walked away.
